How to Use JJS Skill Builder

Step 1: Access the Skill Builder

In Jujutsu Shenanigans, open Build Mode from the main menu. Navigate to Moveset/Awakening — Custom to begin creating your custom moveset.

Step 2: Choose a Base Character

Select your base character. This determines the default animations and abilities. Popular bases include Perfection (Gojo), Malevolent Shrine (Sukuna), and Heavenly Restricted (Toji).

Step 3: Add Nodes to Your Timeline

Build your moveset by adding nodes in sequence. Each node type does something different:

  • Wait — Pause before the next action
  • Animation — Play a character animation
  • Sound — Play a sound effect
  • Velocity — Apply force/movement
  • Hitbox — Create a damaging area

For newer combat, logic, projectile, counter, and state tools, use the complete JJS Skill Builder Nodes Guide.

Step 4: Find the Right IDs

You'll need Animation IDs and Sound IDs for your nodes. Use our IDs reference to find and copy the IDs you need.

Step 5: Test and Iterate

Test your moveset in a match or against a dummy. Adjust timing, damage, and animations until your move feels right. Use our Build Planner to plan your moves offline before rebuilding in-game.

Using Community Moveset Codes

Don't want to build from scratch? Browse our JJS Codes library for community-shared builds, or learn how to import moveset codes.
